Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler has a similar style as The Cinema Snob, but she is more inclined towards morbidly enjoying dumb action flicks. She began reviewing movies in late 2009 after becoming popular in their forum. (Under the name of her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) She was then invited to be a part of Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome team. She remained on the site until mid-2015 when the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was retooled into Movie Nights. The presenter hosts two podcasts: one focused on the Charmed Franchise and another co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She has also been a guest star on some episodes of his show Midnight Screenings. She reviews horrible films aimed at children, or RiffTrax shows as well as occasionally, she reviews adult comedy (including Baywatch (2017)). The first time she reviewed a film was the latter part of 2009. She gained a lot in popularity thanks to her participation in the Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of the family. She has made numerous appearances in Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall all the way to Phelous & the Movies. She was once a member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and often appeared in episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
